Speech Screeners

I use a simple and fun approach to screen preschoolers’ speech that draws out even the most reticent child. Usually 10-15 minutes per child is sufficient to get a sense of speech clarity and sort through age-appropriate errors versus concerns. Literacy + Speech Clarity

Speech and early literacy go hand in hand and are easy and fun to target together. I use a multi-sensory approach that gives preschooolers a leg up in Kindergarten and gives all staff a way to help students fix speech errors.
